September 14th, 2022

PARK CITY, Utah – September 14, 2022

Maschoff Brennan is pleased to announce the addition of noted litigator Robert E. Boone III to the firm’s growing litigation practice. Mr. Boone brings over 35 years of experience defending financial institutions, product manufacturers, and service providers to the firm.

“Having Robert on board strengthens our ability to assist clients with their business litigation needs,” said C.J. Veverka, Litigation Department Chair. “From complex commercial disputes to consumer class actions, Robert brings exciting new capabilities to the counsel we have to offer.”

Mr. Boone works with financial institutions about issues and claims alleging violations of federal banking laws and regulations and state consumer protection statutes, and common law predatory lending claims, including alleged violations of RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, and state UDAP laws, and alleged unfair business practices involving mortgage origination fees and commissions, underwriting, appraisals, loan disclosures, force-placed insurance, flood insurance, affiliated businesses arrangements, secondary markets, and foreclosures. He also represents small to large businesses in commercial disputes involving the breach and/or termination of complex contracts, misappropriation of trade secrets, patent and trademark infringement, breach of warranties, unfair competition, and fraud.

“The world is growing increasingly complex for financial institutions and privately held companies alike,” Robert said. “The litigation team at Maschoff Brennan already provides clients access to an impressive roster of talent. I am excited to join the firm and look forward to assisting clients in solving their most demanding strategic, commercial, and risk-management challenges.”

Mr. Boone will base his practice out of the firm’s Park City office.
