Two New Associates Join Maschoff Brennan

PARK CITY -  Maschoff Brennan is pleased to welcome Ciera Archuleta and Chris D. Wade as our newest associate attorneys joining our firm’s growing litigation practice.

Ciera Archuleta will call our Salt Lake City office home and focuses her practice on litigation spanning all types of intellectual property issues including patent litigation, copyright infringement, trade secret, and complex civil litigation.

Ciera graduated from the University of Utah in 2016 with degrees in Political Science and International Studies. She went on to graduate from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2019. While in law school, Ciera served on the Utah Law Review as an Articles Editor and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable David Nuffer at the Federal District Court for the District of Utah.

Chris D. Wade specializes in a variety of complex commercial litigation, including matters involving contract enforcement, intellectual property, trade secret misappropriation, employment disputes, unlawful competition, and fraud.  He has widespread experience representing clients in State and Federal Court, as well as in arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations. He has also represented clients in international arbitration.

During law school, Chris worked as an extern for Judge David Nuffer on the Federal District Court for the District of Utah, Justice Matthew B. Durrant on the Utah Supreme Court, and Judge Carolyn B. McHugh on the Utah Court of Appeals prior to Judge McHugh being appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He was also a Senior Editor of the BYU Law Review.  Chris will be based out of the firm’s Salt Lake City office.
