Maschoff Brennan Receives Top Patent Prosecution Rankings by Patexia

PARK CITY -  Maschoff Brennan’s Patent Prosecution Group and members of the team were recognized by Patexia in its fourth annual Patent Prosecution Intelligence Report, which ranks the top 100 best performing and most active patent law firms and lawyers. The report covers the period from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2021, and evaluates a total of 2,356,882 patent applications and 1,823,414 granted patents.

Of the over 27,000 lawyers and patent agents evaluated, three Maschoff Brennan patent practitioners received several recognitions across Patexia’s national performance and activity rankings:

  • Yuefen Jennifer Zhou (patent agent) – Ranked #1, Best Performing Attorney in Biotech and Ranked #52, Most Active Attorney in Biotech

  • Burns Israelsen (patent attorney) – Ranked #10, Most Active Attorney in High-Tech and Ranked #13, Most Active Attorney Overall

  • Brent Johnson (patent attorney) – Ranked #13, Best Performing Attorney in Biotech
