His technical and litigation background covers an array of technologies, such as smartphones, virtual cameras, medical lasers, storage devices, and digital receivers, and he regularly represents clients across the U.S., Asia, and Europe in high‑stakes matters.

Todd Hales is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on international patent prosecution, IP due diligence, strategic portfolio management, legal opinions, and cross‑disciplinary IP counseling. He advises clients involved in acquisitions, funding events, and mergers, and prepares opinions on validity, infringement, and non‑infringement.
