Maschoff Gilmore & Israelsen (MGI) Expands, Renames Itself Maschoff Brennan (MB)

March 27, 2013

Maschoff Gilmore & Israelsen, a law firm historically specializing in intellectual property (IP), recently added 11 experienced litigators to expand its litigation capabilities both in IP and in complex commercial litigation more generally. In recognition of these significant additions, the firm has changed its name to Maschoff Brennan Laycock Gilmore Israelsen & Wright, PLLC a.k.a. Maschoff Brennan (MB). As a result of this most recent expansion, the firm now comprises 25 attorneys spanning three offices in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah and Orange County, California.

“Our attorneys are highly educated in science and technology, with proven records in IP procurement and the various facets of IP and other complex litigation,” said Eric Maschoff, MB Managing Shareholder. “The expansion adds to our depth and allows us to provide even more comprehensive legal solutions to our clients.”

“Together, the expanded firm offers not just IP procurement expertise, but litigation power to resolve even the toughest cases for our clients,” said Sterling Brennan, MB Senior Shareholder.

Responding to its growth, MB has moved its Park City, Utah headquarters to the Cottonwood New Park III Building in Park City (1389 Center Drive, Suite 300). In addition, MB has moved its North Salt Lake City, Utah office to the One Utah Center in downtown Salt Lake City and has opened an office near the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, California.
