On September 25, 2019, Maschoff Brennan awarded their Student Innovator Scholarship to Huan Wang, a doctoral student at University Calirfornia, Irvine. The scholarship was presented during the Orange County Business Journals Innovator of the Year Awards ceremony. Huan was nominated by his Ph.D. Theisis Advisor, Payam Heydari. Haun is one of the co-inventors, and a key person in the research, of a breakthrough technology idea called RF Direct Modulation and Demodulation, for which four patents are currently pending. This work was featured in in Los Angeles Times, EE Times, ScienceDaily, and Orange County Business Journal. Huan has also been the co-author of several highly competitive journals and conferences including the IEEE JSSC and IEEE ISSCC, and was the recipient of Best Paper Award at IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference.
