IP Firm Maschoff Brennan Announces New Addition to Orange County Office

Maschoff Brennan is pleased to announce that patent attorney Andrew Lee has joined the firm’s Irvine, Orange County office.  Andrew joins from Knobbe Martens.

Andrew’s practice principally focuses on the preparing and prosecution of mechanical and electro-mechanical patent applications.  He has extensive experience with automotive technology.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lee worked for two years in Nagoya, Japan as an in-house U.S. patent attorney for the law firm subsidiary of an automotive tier 1 supplier.  He prepared and prosecuted patent applications for filing in the United States, European Union, Germany, and China within the art of autonomous vehicle travel, navigation, hybrid vehicle control, battery charging systems, driver-assist safety systems, electric motors, flash memory and wireless communications.

Andrew received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2007, his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000.  He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
